POLICIES THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Our founders believed life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness were rights which our government is empowered to protect.

But this government has chosen to allow people in this nation to go hungry, be without shelter, and not have free quality healthcare. That is a failure to uphold the duty to protect those rights. It’s time for that to change.

  • I will support a Cost of Living Tax Exemption, which means no federal income tax on income under $45,000. Your basic needs shouldn’t be taxed.

    It’s time the rich pay their fair share. The days of the rich and powerful offshoring fortunes made from our hard work are over.

  • Healthcare is a human right. A single-payer universal healthcare system like Medicare for All ensures every person receives medical care that’s free from corporate greed.

  • Food systems should be designed to feed people, not shareholder value. We have the means to feed each person in this country, and it’s time to enact policies that make that happen.

  • We need fully funded federal housing initiatives that actually work. Older adults should be able to downsize when they want to, young people should have the stability to start families and plant roots, and no one should struggle to find shelter when facing adversity.

This is a purely grassroots campaign. We don’t have a savings account or shares of stock to draw from to kickstart this campaign, and Washington Democrats have given up on winning this race just like they have against Republicans in DC. But if we work together to make it happen, we can defeat them.

I refuse to take corporate PAC money or sell out to monied interests, so every single dollar counts. We are going to need all the help we can get to do this, so please make a donation and/or sign up to volunteer with our campaign.

  • Politicians rake in millions of dollars scamming people out of their hard-earned money by claiming they will support the needs of their constituents in Washington and then selling out to special interests like AIPAC. 

    My campaign will never use these tactics, and I will always stand for my neighbors and what I believe in.

  • I want to keep money in Maine, not spending thousands of dollars on out-of-state consultants.
